Artist Statement
I am a contemporary painter based in Belgium, working at the intersection of abstraction, interdimensional narratives and structured symmetry.
My practice centers on the emergence of interdimensional beings, enigmatic entities appearing within abstract fields and precise geometric frameworks. These figures function as visual anchors, suspended between intuition and structure, fiction and familiarity.
Although rooted in a personal mythology, the beings often resonate universally. Viewers frequently recognize echoes of their own cultures, myths, or ancient histories, as if these forms carry shared memories across dimensions.
Through a deliberate balance of vibrant energy and formal precision, my work explores perception, presence, and the boundaries between the known and the imagined. Each painting is conceived as part of an evolving universe, inviting curiosity, contemplation and dialogue.
Biography & History
I have been drawing since childhood, filling school notebooks with sketches, symbols and imagined worlds.
At eighteen, I experienced a formative vision: an interdimensional being composed of color, structure, and spatial complexity beyond conventional representation. Rather than translating this vision immediately, it remained a long-term point of reference… something to be approached with patience and maturity.
With the encouragement of my father, an artist himself, I eventually began to paint, developing a visual language capable of holding both intuition and structure.
Today, I work daily in the studio, systematically giving form to the interdimensional entities that once existed only in my imagination. Each painting is part of an ongoing exploration, bringing me closer to articulating that original vision while expanding its meaning.
